Insider told us that Honda is preparing to launch 2026 Honda X2 850 V3. This powerful cruiser is inspired from legendary CB1300 X4 of the late 1990s and latest V3 75° engine technology.
History of CB1300
Honda CB1300 X4 was released in 1997 which was brand’s muscular and inline four-cylinder power cruiser. It was rival to Yamaha’s V-Max. This had 1,284cc engine which was known for smoother acceleration and massive torque.
Back then this motorcycle was best known for it’s smoothness in cruising and it’s style helped Honda to establish as a legacy brand.
Nowadays, people judge engine by the cylinder count but 2026 CB1300 X4 relies on X2 850 V3 with powerful and bold design.
2026 Honda X2 850 V3 Engine
It’s the all-new V3 engine configuration that makes 2026 X2 850 truly groundbreaking. Honda has given industry’s first electric compressor to this cruiser which is known to eliminate turbo lag.
We also see rare and unconventional 75-degree V3 setup which is also first time in industry. Overall with all these changes Honda is trying to minimize complexities of mechanical superchargers.
Exact figures of this all new V3 electric-compressed engine is still yet to be revised but we can assume:
- Instant torque from low revs
- Improved fuel efficiency
- Lighter mechanical components
- Lower heat generation than turbo or supercharged setups
Design & Character
Though the 2025 Honda X2 850 V3 shares several components with the Honda CMX1100 Rebel they differ in many ways. X2 850 looks more aggressive with muscular silhouette. it feels more like power cruisers and naked streetfighters.
