2025 Triumph Trident 660 Review: Feature-Packed and Still Affordable?

Triumph Trident 660 is known as one of the best midbudget naked bike with smooth triple-cylinder engine, approachable ergonomics, and sharp styling. It rival against Yamaha MT-07 and Honda CB750 Hornet. Let’s talk out first impression of 2025 Triumph Trident 660.

New Tech in 2025 Triumph Trident 660

Tagline for 2025 Triumph Trident 660 is more features, same price and yes they live upto it. With same pricing of £7,895 ($8975) Triumph has given several key upgrades like:

  • Ride-by-wire sport mode,
  • Cruise Control
  • Quickshifter (now standard)
  • Bluetooth connectivity with turn-by-turn navigation
  • Lean-sensitive ABS and traction control, enabled by a six-axis IMU
  • Self-cancelling indicators

This makes 2025 Triumph Trident 660 more tech loaded bike when compared to Hornet 750, Yamaha MT-07, and Suzuki GSX-8S. None of these bike offer these tech features without optional extras.

Power & Handling

2025 Triumph Trident 660 offers 805mm seat height & 190 kg which i feel very balanced and easy to manage. Also, front suspension is now tuned for making it more smoother. Previously people complained that it was too firm.

This bike runs on 660cc inline-triple engine which has 80 horsepower and much more refined and smooth performance. To be honest it is not as powerful as Hornet’s 91 bhp but it’s triple-cylinder makes it easier to ride.

What’s Missing?

One thing where i want Triumph could have done better job is at Dash which remains split-screen LCD & TFT. it should have shifted to large, full-color TFT displays. Additionally, cruise control is great but it is just one-button setup which lacks fine tuning option and speed up-down control.
